Company Dancer
Olivia began dancing at the age of ten with the Chicago Park District studying ballet, jazz and modern under the direction of Katia Marzolf-Borione and Sarah Glover-Heston. At the age of 16 she began her formal Spanish dance training with Dame Libby Komaiko. In 2005 she was promoted to Company dancer. Olivia received her BA in English from UIC in 2008 and has since then studied extensively with Irma Suárez Ruíz, Jorge Pérez, Edo, Carmela Greco, Manolete, Juan Mata & Ana Gonzalez, founding members of the National Ballet of Spain, Timo Lozano, Edwin Aparicio, Paloma Gomez & Cristian Lozano. In Spain she has studied at the Amor de Dios Flamenco Academy in Madrid with Inmaculada Ortega and Candela Soto. Olivia has performed nationally and internationally with EESDT and as guest artist with the Chamber Opera Chicago in Carmen.
