The Ensemble Español is delighted to announce that we have been challenged on a match campaign in raising $300,000 made possible by a major Growth Grant from the Hurvis Foundation. This grant has a potential match of up to $1 million dollars through June 30, 2022.

Rose Society
Members honor the memory of Dame Libby Komaiko by continuing her life’s passion work by supporting Spanish Dance. By joining the Rose Society, you will help us grow the numbers of friends and supporters of our club. Entry into the club is $250 annually.

Producer’s Club
Have you ever wanted a work to be produced in your honor, that of a loved one or for your company? Have you ever wanted to support the work of one of your favorite Choreographers? By joining our Producer’s Club you can help the Ensemble Español fund a production in your honor. There are three levels you can pay all or toward part of a production based upon what is in the pipeline for that season.

Ensemble Español Youth Company
The Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Youth Company serves as the pre-professional training program to the organization’s professional company. It’s comprised of two divisions: the Junior Division, for ages between 10 and 18; and, the Senior Division, which is for 18+

Dame Libby Legacy Fund
The Dame Libby Legacy Fund was established in 2000 in order to provide operational support for various needs of the Ensemble Español. Past expenditures have included accounting / auditing fees, equipment / maintenance fees, computer software, and personnel paid via grant. The fund is sustained through annual charitable donations.
Given the Ensemble Español’s long time residence at Northeastern Illinois University and shared faculty, staff, and many supporters, the NEIU Foundation is the fiscal manager for this fund designated specifically for the benefit the Ensemble Español.

Zelda Fund
Honoring the memory of Zelda Kolber, loving grandmother to our principal dance, Sara Samuels, this program provides meaningful arts programming to underserved seniors.

Given the Ensemble Español’s long time residence at Northeastern Illinois University and shared faculty, staff, and many supporters, the NEIU Foundation is the fiscal manager for five donor-restricted funds designated specifically for the benefit the Ensemble Español. Of the five, four are endowed funds and one is annually funded through private contributions.
