Tales of Spain – Virtual Holiday Performance

December 16, 2020

Dear Students, Teachers and Principals,

It is with great excitement that I am sharing this opportunity with you today. We are saddened to not be able to perform for you live on stage at our Northeastern Illinois University’s Auditorium, or even at your own school, so we would like to share this virtual experience with you this season… for FREE!

Tales of Spain is our annual dance and lecture performance that leads audiences through the variety of Spanish dance styles, and their historical significance on traditional and contemporary culture. In this 30 minute virtual presentation, audiences will learn how Spanish dance is influenced by the ancient Celtic peoples, Moorish sensibilities, and the lives and passions of the Gitanos. Consequently, students, parents and teachers will receive an in-depth survey of Spain’s special place in dance art forms.

With this special offer schools will also receive an interactive Spanish Dance Study Guide as well as Tales of Spain Presentation Materials.

All of us at Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Theater want to acknowledge the hard work that schools have been doing to maintain a strong curriculum during these unprecedented times. This is our gift to you!

(Links available for 30 days only to the person registered. If more that one class in the same school would like to participate another form will need to be completed)

Be well, be safe, be kind and be strong. Happy Holidays!
