About Anna Czajun
ANNA CZAJUN, Ballet Mistress and Production Assistant, received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeastern Illinois University. Trained as a pianist, yet choosing dance as a profession, Czajun has performed with numerous companies in her native Chicago, notably the Chicago Moving Company, the Joel Hall Dancers, the Arve Connection, and the Chicago Repertory Dance Ensemble. She has created numerous dance works for many Chicago companies and independent artists. She was the educational resource director for the Chicago Repertory Dance Ensemble, conducting dance workshops and creating lecture-demonstration programs nationwide for primary, secondary, and university students. Czajun has been on the dance faculties of the Chicago Dance Center, the New School for the Performing Arts, the Lou Conte Dance Studio, Barat College, and the Gus Giordano Dance Center. In addition, she taught the ballet and modern dance courses for the Latin School of Chicago. During her 29-year tenure at the Latin School, she directed, choreographed, and produced their annual dance productions.
