About Lola Montes

Lola Montes (New York, 1918 – 2008) had a stellar career and was one of the United States’ best-known Spanish dancers. Her career spanned the greater part of the 20th Century. She was the first American Spanish dancer to work with the legendary Gypsy flamenco dancer Carmen Amaya.
