About Dr. Shayne Cofer

R. Shayne Cofer, PhD, is the Associate Provost for Innovation and Academic Assessment and Professor of Music at Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU). As former chair of the Department of Music and Dance, Shayne worked with Dame Libby Komaiko and Ensemble Español for many years to deliver academic courses in Spanish Dance to NEIU students. He is delighted to be serving on the Executive Board of Directors to help ensure the continued success of Dame Libby’s beloved Ensemble Español well into the future.
